man national deliveries
These are made either by ourselves or, depending
on location, our specialist sub contracted company.
2 man deliveries refer to items such as pianos,
grands, organs or concert systems etc. The specialist
sub contract company we use only deliver musical
instruments, they are not a general removal company.
However they have a long tradition of working with
pianos and meet our required high standards.
1 man national deliveries
These are made by our chosen carriers –
Amtrak. 1 man deliveries refer to boxed items
like keyboards, orchestral instruments, guitars
and amps etc.
Amtrak are one of the UK's largest overnight delivery
service, and handle in excess of 50,000 parcels
every night. Each parcel is sorted, labeled, transferred
and tracked via sophisticated barcode technology.
Their extensive network includes 121 UK and 25
Irish depots, with a delivery fleet of over 1000
vehicles and 950 collection and delivery drivers.
Apart from remote areas of North West Scotland
all deliveries are on a next day basis. If premier
timed or Saturday deliveries are required they
are both available at an extra cost, so please
check with a member of our team as they are relatively
expensive.
International deliveries – Europe
Through are association with DPD, one of the market
leaders in European parcel distribution, the new
Europe by road service we provide offers you a
network of over 400 depots across 16 European
countries. DPD have an unrivaled local knowledge
and expertise with over 145,000 satisfied customers
throughout Europe.
DPD transit times are comparable to air express:-
Zone 1 – Belgium, France, Germany, Luxembourg
and Netherlands has an expected transit of 3 days
Zone 2 – Austria, Denmark and Switzerland
has an expected transit of 4 days
Zone 3 – Czech Republic, Italy, Slovakia
and Spain has an expected transit of 6 days
Zone 4 – Finland, Norway, Poland and Sweden
has an expected transit of 3 days
